It’s a standard statement in Indian households referred to as “Bigde hue Bacche” (Spoiled Children), but this case handled by the Crimeophobia Team is of a “Bigda hua Baap” (Spoiled Father). In a case where Crimeophobia has provided its Digital Evidence Certificate while supporting its client in submitting e-adultery evidence to the Mumbai Police, the team also tracked down the lady who was in a completely different country, while the “Bigda hua Baap” was screen-recording his own mobile while performing acts of his love affair with a Filipino-origin housemaid from Singapore.
The Indian businessman’s love affair from Andheri West wasn’t the first that the Crimeophobia Team had tracked down. Previously, a female serial killers’ gang was unveiled, in which another businessman wanted to marry one of the women—who had been rejected by Crimeophobia after a matrimonial background check. Two years later, the businessman called Criminologist Snehil Dhall while he was in London, pleading to be saved from the serial killer who was reported arrested, as her gang used to honeytrap, extort, blackmail for ransom, and later chop their victims into pieces.
With modernization in crime, honeytraps or “consensual until proven” cases have taken place on digital platforms between two countries. An assumed senior citizen Filipino lady working in Singapore as a housemaid managed to not only trap the Indian businessman but also took over his consciousness, in which he himself video-recorded his mobile screen while they both performed e-adultery. It isn’t confirmed whether these two senior citizens ever met in person or if it has always been through video calls. However, the device provided by the son for data recovery to the Crimeophobia Team was further analysed, which confirmed the above details to be accurate through online footprints. The businessman video-recorded his screen, and the entire act was carried out while he was roaming around the house—from bedrooms to the living room—searching for his selfie stick with a stand to perform his acts in India, while the maid is assumed to have been in another country. It did seem to be consensual since the businessman directed the maid to perform various acts, which she followed throughout while both of them were on a video call.
It is unclear whether he paid her or not; nevertheless, it is up to the police and court to trace his financial records for international transactions. However, it won’t be easy for the authorities, since this businessman has more than 55 bank accounts, as reported and evaluated by the Crimeophobia Team. In many transactions, he misused the joint accounts of his wife, who has filed for divorce, and his son, whom he did not allow to marry his childhood girlfriend because she was not in a position to give any kind of dowry. He also misused his daughter’s name, whom he reportedly tried to prevent from marrying her boyfriend in order to avoid paying any wedding expenses, for which she has also filed a separate case against her father.

Irrelevant distractions! In that instance, Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja faced grave charges concerning an alleged physical affair with his domestic help and now surprisingly the actor has moved to Philipines where the Indian Businessman’s housemaid girlfriend is originally from. That case captured national headlines due to the direct, physical nature of the alleged infidelity and its immediate, tangible consequences on his career and public image. The current Mumbai incident, however, highlights a significant evolution in the landscape of marital betrayal. Similarly, in Ludhiana, Punjab (July 2024), a domestic help was reportedly forced by her own husband to engage in sexual relations with her employer, who was also implicated. While less common, there are instances where domestic workers are the perpetrators, as seen in Odisha (May 2025), where a domestic worker was arrested for raping his employer’s wife and minor daughter. Peer abuse also occurs, with a 2017 South Mumbai case detailing a female domestic worker being raped by a male house-help. Older cases, such as the 2016 gang rape of a minor domestic maid in Thane/Ulhasnagar by multiple household members, underscore the severe vulnerability of these workers.
Beyond these specific examples, a broader timeline of abuse reveals a disturbing trend. The 2009 Shiney Ahuja case in Mumbai involved a Bollywood actor accused of raping his maid. Other cases include a cook in Thane (2017) who allegedly raped a maid after promising marriage, an accountant in Bhopal (July 2024) who reportedly blackmailed his maid with rape videos, and instances of prolonged confinement and sexual abuse, such as a Delhi businessman (2017) who allegedly imprisoned and raped a maid for three months, and a Coimbatore farmer (2015) who held a maid captive and raped her for over five years. These incidents collectively reveal a grim reality for many domestic workers, who are often subjected to severe exploitation, including sexual violence, trafficking, and blackmail, by employers, their relatives, or even other domestic staff. The frequent involvement of minors and the nature of the crimes, including gang rape and long-term abuse, emphasize the urgent need for greater protection and justice for this vulnerable population.
